Diana Wall named 2017 ESA Eminent Ecologist

Soil ecologist Diana Wall, best known for her outstanding quarter century of ecological research in the Antarctic McMurdo Dry Valleys, was recently named 2017 Eminent Ecologist by the Ecological Society of America. Dr. Wall's research has uncovered the importance of fundamental soil processes in a variety of ecosystems, with a particular focus on the role of nematodes as key drivers in the soil carbon cycle.
