<literalLayout>As part of the Long Term Ecological Research in the McMurdo Dry Valleys of Antarctica, meteorological data was collected from various locations throughout Beacon, Taylor, Wright and Victoria Valleys. These files contain data for the Upper Howard Glacier meteorology station monthly averages, as derived from the 15-min high-frequency data. The Upper Howard Glacier meteorological station was added to the McMurdo Dry Valley network in the 2001-2002 field season in Taylor Valley and removed November 8, 2004.</literalLayout>
