Dr. Robert Wharton

The MCM LTER was deeply saddened to learn that our founding PI, Dr. Robert Wharton passed away on September 18, 2012 . Bob served as PI on the MCM LTER from 1993-1999 and was instrumental in the initiation of our project. He was a good friend and always so encouraging to the students involved in the project
