CU Boulder Today: A Water Quality Mystery, Solved in Antarctica

CU Boulder Today highlights new research published in Geophysical Research Letters, led by postdoctoral associate Adam Wlostowski and colleagues, that investigates why streams retain their chemical makeup regardless of their flow rate. Their study, conducted in the Taylor Valley of Antarctica, suggest that high levels of chemical weathering are the primary mechanism for this global streamflow phenomenon.
