The McMurdo Dry Valleys Long Term Ecological Research Project encourages and embraces diversity among our principal investigators, postdocs, students, technicians, and collaborators across our collaborative institutions. Diversity includes groups defined by race, nationality, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, language, religion, disability and/or health status, gender identity/expression, veteran status, geographic origins, and socio-economic status. We strive to embrace the perspectives that come from different backgrounds, expertise, and experiences. Our science is enriched by a broad range of approaches and contributions. From these we all learn and cultivate new capabilities and collectively, our best and most accessible scientific advances, outreach engagements, and education experiences possible.
