In this small-scale experiment soil was reciprocally transplanted between the floor of Fryxell Basin and Mount Falconer (a peak along northern side of Fryxell Basin) to determine the impact of changes in environmental condition on soil biota.

Von Guerard Stream at F21. Id: uvg_f21.This was an ill-fated upstream gage on Von Guerard, 2.5 kilometers upstream from F6. It was installed during the lowest season of record (00-01) and then promptly destroyed during the 01-02 season. It's parts were stripped and it never generated a hydrology database, but was certainly sampled.
