Investigation of the effect of hydrological and biogeochemical linkages in the transition zone between streams and surrounding soils on invertebrate community structure as part of the McMurdo Dry Valleys Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) project. The invertebrate community structure with relation to soil moisture, salinity, and chlorophyll-a was determined. The study took place on 28 November 1997 and 31 December 1997 at the Von Guerard Stream/Harnish Creek network.

As part of the Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) project in the McMurdo Dry Valleys of Antarctica, a systematic sampling program has been undertaken to monitor the glacial meltwater streams in that region. This table contains data pertaining to means obtained from continuously monitored water quality and quantity parameters. Measurements were taken from automatic recording devices on streams in this region. This dataset contains daily means for the stream gage measurements during the period 1969-1997.
